What if my insurance company says I have to get three estimates or that I have to go to another shop and meet with their adjuster?

Tell them NO and you are dropping your car off at the shop of your choice to get repaired and the adjuster can inspect your car there with the bodyshop manager. It is your car and you have the right to get your car fixed where you want. We work for you, not the insurance company.

Can you communicate with my insurance company to work out the details?

Absolutely. We take care of the estimate and notify you when the vehicle can go in for service. Most times, the insurance company will pay us directly so you don’t have to worry about payment. I need my car back ASAP. How can you get me back on the road?

Once we write your estimate, it is approved and you authorize us to begin work, we will set up a time line and let you know when your vehicle will be ready. It may take a few days in order to deliver the best work. If you need to get back on the road before then, we will be happy to set up a rental car for you, and in many cases can communicate with your insurance company to handle the payment.

How do I know if my vehicle is drivable after the accident?

If your vehicle doesn’t feel right when driving or if you hear rubbing noises on wheels and tires, your vehicle may not be safe to drive. Also, if there are broken lamps or warning lights on the dash you may want to consider having it towed. At that point or even from the scene of the accident you can request your vehicle be towed directly to our facility. We offer a 24 hr tow service.

If I am going file a claim through my insurance company what do I do?

To begin the claims process, contact your insurance company and report the accident. Tell them you have chosen to have the repairs done at C&W AutoBody. Can I have the parts ordered before I drop off my vehicle?

Yes, parts can be pre-ordered and in some cases pre-painted before you drop off your car at our shop. This allows you to have access to your vehicle while parts are on order.

Can I request an additional estimate for work to be done other than damage my insurance company is paying for?

Yes, discuss any additional repair work you would like to pay for separately with our estimator when you drop of the vehicle.

Will my paint match?

Yes, with the proper applications and factory suggested procedures, we guarantee color match. We use the best automotive paints and products available.

How long will the repairs on my vehicle take?

How can I get a rental car set up for the day I drop off my vehicle?

We can arrange to have Enterprise meet you at our facility. In many cases if you are going through an insurance company Enterprise will bill them direct.

Do I have to pay for my deductible?

Yes, it is mandated by your insurance policy that you pay your deductible to the body shop at the completion of your repairs. If you are not at fault in your loss, you may not be responsible for the deductible. If you are not sure of liability on your claim, we can help in contacting the appropriate people for you.

What forms of payment do you accept?

What are betterment or depreciation charges?

These are charges determined by your insurance carrier on parts that have a specific “lifetime” associated with them. The betterment is prorated based on the year and mileage of your vehicle. Examples of these parts are radiators, exhaust components, tires and specific suspension parts that commonly wear out and need replacement with time and usage. If your vehicle’s repairs have parts that are depreciated you will need to pay the betterment amount at the completion of the repair process.
